About the Project
Details of the book were broken down into takeaway topics constructing the heavy content into smaller, more digestible sections. Each section included fun graphics to make the content inviting to read and emphasized the content it highlighted.
Printed out to full size, this infographic reaches five feet high!
What I Learned
The Brainy Approaches infographic encompases the ideas of the Mind, Brain, and Education publication. When the document first came to me to start the project, the infographic read as a mini report (image a seven page infographic)! I worked with the team to drastically cut down the text into something that could be read within a minute.
Like with all projects, learning how to break down information into digestible chunks helps not only with understanding but with production. I was able to work on multiple sections while other sections were being edited and revised. This formed a type of production line that allowed a constant process getting us swiftly to the deadline on time.
